Wendell O. Jellison was ordained in the UPCI in September, 1978. His ministry of 33 years has included over 12 years of service to churches as pastor, and for 21 years he and his family traveled in an evangelistic ministry of gospel singing and preaching.

The family group, The Jellisons, recorded 15 albums of gospel music, and ministered in 36 states and Canada while singing at campmeetings, churches, auditoriums, conferences, and outdoor events.

His ministry has included radio programs in Maine, Indiana, and Tennessee. Currently, he can be heard Sunday morning at 7:30 A.M. on 95.1 FM radio, Thunderbolt Broadcasting in Martin, Tennessee.

His family includes first-born daughter Lana, who is married to Tim Chandler. They have two daughters, Tiffany (12) and Lyndsey (7). Middle daughter Teresa is married to Shayne Hargis and they reside in San Antonio, Texas with their twin sons, Tristan and Taylen (8). They are music director and administrative assistant to Pastor Mike Chance at Hope Center UPC. Their music ministry has taken them around the world in crusades and campmeetings, including ministry with The Jellisons.
